Every element of the instrument is designed to respond naturally to the player, allowing the smallest variations in attack, touch and feel to become part of the sound.

Organic and three-dimensional in character, the JCG is designed to enhance the connection between player and instrument. At its heart is the Enhanced Response System (E.R.S.), the foundation of the three-dimensional tone, feel and response that define every Cilia guitar. The Linear Response Fingerboard (L.R.F.) maintains a uniform fingerboard thickness along the neck, promoting greater consistency from one end of the fingerboard to the other, while Equilateral Tonal Balancing (E.T.B.) brings balance and consistency to the body’s tonal response across its entire range. The custom-voiced Garsed Blue Murder Signature Bridge Pickup was developed specifically around Brett’s tastes and playing style, capturing the nuance of his touch and dynamics while offering a broad, expressive tonal range.
